Plz try to write in more pronouncable word, as because tanii words depend on many rising and lowering tone. However, we need write which most of the common people can accept but not the highly qualified and educated people. We need to understand how our old owmen who sell 'giiyang hamang' can speak assamese or hindi. Equally so called educated people speaking hindi and english. Plz try to understand in dept.
keep doing and my best wishes.

@ millo tago

thnx.

i know written apatani is very difficult to read. at times,i myself fumble with the pronunciation of words written by me.

btw i'm working on how we can write separately for tonal variations of vowel sounds based on phonetics of english words... i would need your suggestion so keep visiting the blog

Hi! why don't you try tani lipi although this script needs some modifications, but it is much better in writing apatani words as compared to Roman alphabets.

@ nada tadi
thnx for your suggestion but right now i feel Roman script is the best option as it is known to all educated ppl right from school going children. besides tanii language is dying fast we should opt for the easiest way to save and popularize it.
i havent gone through tani lipi as yet (though i should)... i wud be looking into your suggestion in near future.
ne-way keep visiting

U can download Tani Lipi from http://www.likenkoyu.blogspots.com
It is very easy to learn. U'll find it easy to write apatani words.

@millo tago and all
i've revised this post with a spelling scheme (as well as word transcription) which i think is more easily pronunciable and readable. i wonder if it works... do feel free to comment with suggestions and criticisms

your work is well appreciated.However, plain use of Roman script does not give correct tonal/fluency in pronounciation.We read and understand it but it is not we expect.I have seen in some apatani dictionary, the use if signs/ marks on the apatani words to make for correct tonal variation.If those signs/ marks is used parallely with the roman script,it would be much better. Although, the common people need to learn those signs but its usage is a must to give justice to the correct tonal variation. Rest is good work, keep it up.
